The story of the days leading up to Christmas, as Mary and Joseph’s overcome challenges along their path to Bethlehem, but as the stories in this book reveal, a small miracle happens on each day. The story of each miracle brings us a little closer to Christmas, until we finally reach the stable in Bethlehem where the light in the lantern is waiting in anticipation of the Christ Child’s birth.

Comprising 28 individual stories, the first week’s stories relate to the mineral world, the second week’s stories to the plant world, followed by the animal kingdom and finally to the human beings.

This book may be used alone, or with an ‘Advent Calendar’ of the same title (calendar is available to order at Lyrebird – order by end of October to receive in time for opening the first window on December 1st, the day to begin reading the accompanying story).
