Ostheimer Falling Stars Silhouette

The scene is from the traditional fairytale ‘Star Money’; the story of a young girl who has given away all of her warm clothes to poor and cold people in greater need than herself, when she had given it all away her good deeds are rewarded, she is amazed to see stars dropping from the sky and turning into coins as the fall towards her, she catches them in the skirt of her petticoat, and lives well until the end of her days.

With a light source placed behind, The colours in the waxed paper background set behind the middle section of the three panelled screen will glow, with the wooden section defined in silhouette. The silhouette screens can be used alone, or ideally slotted into a special wooden stand with beeswax candle placed in the special inset holder. alternatively a t-light may be placed in a small to medium glass jar behind the screen.
