This shepherd is an Ostheimer classic. It was one of the first figures designed by the Ostheimer family for children in a Steiner school more than 70 years ago (it is actually the figure depicted on the iconic Ostheimer logo. It was designed as part of an early set to go with a dog, and a small flock of sheep).
This shepherd has a been carefully handcrafted in a neutral standing pose, all0wing for a child’s imagination to bring it to life in imaginary play. The staff is removable for young child’s play, and easily slid back into place for display
The Ostheimer shepherds dog, and various sizes and postures of sheep are available individually to mix and match, to form a collection for story telling and imaginative play.

Shepherd with Staff. Ostheimer have been handcrafting the finest natural wooden toys in Germany for more than 70 years.
