Our apple tree puzzle is reversible – Summer one size and Winter the reverse. When the puzzle pieces are assembled, The child can then fill in the circular holes of various sizes left amongst the tree to find the homes for each creature. In summer the tree is home to a family of squirrels, a nest of birds, a mischievous cat and playful owls. Under the ground, little mice, rabbits and moles hide in their burrows. In Winter we can discover what our little friends are doing until the good weather arrives.
